Description: Precast Concrete Laborer – $21.49/hr
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46203
Pay: $21.49 per hour
Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Hours: Full-time, up to 12-hour shifts

Diverse Staffing is hiring Precast Concrete Laborers for a full-time, year-round industrial concrete position. This is a physically demanding job best suited for candidates who are comfortable working long shifts, lifting heavy materials, and working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Job Duties
• Help set up forms for concrete production
• Place steel plates, wire mesh, assemblies, and wet concrete
• Pull steel cable and work around large concrete panels
• Rake, level, and trowel concrete
• Use a tape measure and basic math to follow measurements
• Bend, stretch, and work over forms during production
Must-Have Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 lbs regularly
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
• Must be able to bend, stretch, pull, and work over concrete forms
• Must have steel-toed boots
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
• Must be available for weekend work as needed
Nice-to-Have Experience
• Mechanical experience
• Maintenance experience
• Previous concrete, construction, production, or industrial labor experience
Work Environment
This is a heavy industrial concrete production environment. Candidates will work around large concrete panels weighing up to 20 tons, steel materials, wet concrete, and production equipment. The job may include outdoor work in hot, cold, wet, or changing weather conditions. The work requires long periods of standing, repeated lifting, bending, pulling, and working safely around heavy materials.

This Job Requires:

Minimum of 2 years of stand-up and sit-down forklift experience.
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must successfully complete a customer interview prior to hire.
