Job Position: Machine Operator

Location: Newnan, GA

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.

Shift: 1st shift, 7:00am to 4:00pm – Monday through Friday

Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:

Set up and operate CNC machines used in gear manufacturing such as CNC lathes, hobbing machines, gear grinders, shaving/honing machines, and related equipment (depending on your experience)

Load/unload parts, verify part orientation, and follow work instructions, control plans, and inspection requirements

Perform first article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators

Record inspections results and production counts accurately (paper or digital logs)

Monitor tool wear, charge inserts/cutters when needed, and make basic offset adjustments to maintain tolerances

Identify quality issues and escalate to lead/engineering as needed

Support 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards, follow lockout/tagout and shop safety procedures

This Job Requires:

2+ years CNC machining experience, preferably in automotive or precision manufacturing Gear manufacturing experience required (hobbing, shaving, grinding, honing, shaping, gear inspection, gear-related turning operations)

Ability to read and follow blueprints Calipers, micrometers, gauges experience

Ability to make basic machine adjustments

Strong attendance, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Teamwork and cooperative mindset
