A growing distribution and warehouse operation is seeking an experienced Customer Operations Coordinator to support customer orders, shipment tracking, item setup, sales support, and operational reporting. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, solving problems, coordinating across departments, and using advanced Excel skills to keep operations running efficiently.
This is not an entry-level administrative position. Candidates should have previous experience working with order management, customer operations, logistics coordination, supply chain support, inventory reporting, sales support, or customer account management.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinate customer orders from entry through shipment completion
Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate order processing
Monitor shipment status and communicate updates on priority orders
Maintain order tracking, shipment tracking, and sales activity spreadsheets
Research and resolve orders that have not progressed through the fulfillment process
Complete new item setup and product maintenance activities within Excel and customer portals
Support pricing updates, account maintenance, and customer-specific requirements
Analyze order trends, shipment performance, inventory activity, and sales data
Create reports and provide operational updates to internal teams
Assist with customer service functions including order entry and customer communication when needed
Support e-commerce activities involving online marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and similar systems
Utilize technology and AI tools to improve reporting accuracy, workflow efficiency, and communication
Work Environment
This position works in a professional office environment within a warehouse and distribution operation. Employees regularly interact with customer service representatives, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and management. The role involves frequent computer work, data analysis, reporting, and communication across multiple departments.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in customer operations, order management, logistics coordination, customer service, supply chain support, inventory control, or sales support
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience managing and maintaining spreadsheets
Ability to analyze data and identify trends, discrepancies, and operational issues
Experience reviewing sales, inventory, shipment, or operational reports
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
Experience with Pivot Tables
Experience using VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS formulas
Experience working with ERP systems, customer portals, or inventory management software
Background in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations
E-commerce or online marketplace experience
Physical Requirements
Sit for extended periods while working at a computer
Frequently use a keyboard, mouse, and multiple software systems
Occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach within the office and warehouse areas
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Ability to view and analyze detailed information on computer screens throughout the workday
