Packaging Associate – Food Production
Diverse Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for a food and beverage production environment. This job is best for someone who can stand for the full shift, keep up with a production line, and package products such as candy, granola bars, and beverages with accuracy and consistency.
What You Will Do
• Package food and beverage products on a production line
• Check packaging quality as products move through the line
• Place finished products into boxes, trays, or containers
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow food safety, quality, and production instructions
• Report product, packaging, or equipment issues to the lead or supervisor
Must-Have Requirements
• Able to stand for the entire shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently
• Able to push or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally
• Able to bend, squat, twist, reach overhead, and use fine motor skills as needed
• Able to work repetitive tasks at a steady production pace
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the full assigned schedule
Nice-to-Have Requirements
• Previous packaging, production, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience
• Experience working on a production line
• Experience following food safety or quality procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
• Food and beverage production environment
• Standing for the full shift
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Frequent reaching outward and fine motor work
• Occasional walking, bending, squatting, twisting, and overhead reaching
• May require PPE such as gloves, hairnet, beard net, or safety glasses
• Production areas may be noisy, warm, cool, or fast-paced depending on the product and line
This Job May Not Be a Fit If
• You cannot stand for the entire shift
• You do not want repetitive production-line work
• You cannot lift or carry up to 20 pounds frequently
• You are not comfortable with food safety rules or PPE
• You cannot keep up with steady production pace
• You cannot work the full assigned schedule reliably
