Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our customers team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using a tape measure and have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with plastics. This role involves running material through various machines based on customer orders, with each machine having different operational requirements.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:

Operate multiple machines to process Styrofoam blocks according to customer specifications and orders.

Utilize sit-down forklift to safely move pallets and other items throughout warehouse.

Measure and cut material accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise dimensions.

Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toe shoes.

Ensure that each order is completed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety guidelines.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions as needed, with guidance from supervisors or maintenance teams.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

This Job Requires:

Ability to proficiently operate a sit-down forklift (no training is provided).

Mold production experience is preferred

Ability to perform basic tasks like reading and counting.

Can lift up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable standing or moving for the full shift.

Teamwork and cooperative mindset.

Punctual and ready to work.

One year of manufacturing experience is required, preferably in the plastic industry.

Proficiency in using a tape measure is essential.

Ability to operate machines with attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of safety protocols and use of PPE.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Comfortable with a laid-back dress code but must wear comfortable shoes and comply with safety requirements.
