Diverse Staffing is hiring Food Production Workers for a food manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, Indiana. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment handling sausage and meat products.
This is a hands-on production role with opportunities to learn manufacturing processes while working a steady first-shift schedule.
Job Duties
Process and handle meat and sausage products throughout production
Operate production equipment used during cooking and manufacturing processes
Package finished products for shipment
Inspect products to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
Follow sanitation, safety, and company procedures
Maintain production pace and support team production goals
Must-Have Requirements
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food production experience preferred
Ability to stand for the entire shift
Ability to work in refrigerated production areas
Ability to follow safety and food handling procedures
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Previous food manufacturing experience
Experience operating manufacturing equipment
Experience with packaging or inspection work

Exposure to raw and cooked meat products
Wet and cold working conditions in some areas
