Electro-Mechanical Technician – Direct Hire
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Pay Rate: $31.50 – $37.93/hr.
Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)

Diverse Staffing is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Indianapolis, IN. This position combines mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain, operate, and repair automated and robotic production equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a team-driven manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and machinery manuals.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical and mechanical systems and components.

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on various equipment.

• Diagnose and repair issues with instrumentation such as thermocouples, temperature controllers, and transducers.

• Support production by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns.

• Maintain and repair machinery used in the production of thermoformed and padded polystyrene trays.

• Operate forklifts and shop tools safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in both electrical and mechanical environments.

• Completion of a trades program or associate’s degree preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives.
