Job Position: Cherry Picker/Order Picker Forklift

Location: Brownsburg, IN 46112

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Shift: 1st, 7:00am – 530pm, Monday-Friday

Description: A cherry picker/order picker job involves using a specialized motorized lift to retrieve items from high warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Key duties include operating the cherry picker, picking and scanning products accurately, and preparing them for shipping. The role also requires following safety protocols, managing inventory, and sometimes assisting with other tasks like loading and unloading trucks.

Core responsibilities: Operating the cherry picker: Safely and efficiently operate the motorized lift to move up and down racks and move items.
Order fulfillment: Use order pick lists to locate, pull, and scan products for customer orders.
Inventory management: Restock shelves, perform cycle counts, and update inventory using RF scanners.
Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, conduct daily harness inspections, and wear required safety gear like visibility vests.
Shipping preparation: Securely package and label items for shipment, wrap pallets, and stage orders in the correct area.
Loading and unloading: Assist with loading and unloading materials onto or from delivery trucks.
Warehouse upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and report any damaged goods or shortages to supervisors.

Essential skills and requirements
Equipment operation: Certification or ability to operate various warehouse equipment, including cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
Attention to detail: Ability to accurately pick and scan items and follow written instructions.
Physical stamina: Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other warehouse staff.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and other team members.
