Job Position: Bindery Helper

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46256

Pay Rate: $15.50/hr

Shift: 1st – 6am – 2pm Monday – Friday

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Assist in the operation of stapling and stitching machines for the production of booklets and paper products.
– Prepare materials for binding processes, including organizing and stacking paper for stitching or stapling.
– Monitor machinery during operations to ensure proper functioning and address minor issues or malfunctions.
– Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure alignment, stitching, and overall quality meet company standards.
– Handle and move materials, including lifting up to 50 pounds, to and from workstations.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the workspace is free of debris and hazards.
– Collaborate with machine operators and team members to meet production deadlines and quotas.
– Follow company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
– Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly as part of daily duties.
– Familiarity with basic mechanical operations and tools commonly used in bindery or paper production processes is preferred.
– Strong attention to detail for inspecting finished products and ensuring quality standards are met.
– Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate with coworkers.
– Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
– Flexibility to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods during shifts.
– Basic understanding of workplace safety and operational guidelines.
