The pay rate is $18.00- $19.50, please indicate your wage requirement when applying.

Work hours are 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays and Office closures.

The Diverse Staffing Customer Experience Specialist at this client location performs the following responsibilities:

• Answer telephone and greet customers

• Assist customers with program registrations, schedule appointments, take payments, or determine program eligibility

• Process applications, gather information and conduct online database searches

• Process invoices, applications and other necessary documents

• Operate office equipment, fax machines, copiers and phone systems

• Verify customer information through paper and online documentation

• Maintain, update and organize electronic files, records and reports

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries regarding services available, community resource options, on-going programs and benefit status

• Enter data into various computer applications and databases

• Additional duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Ability to pass an in-depth criminal background check

• Minimum of two years of customer service or community service-related experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Active listening

• Attention to detail

• Critical thinking
