Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:

• Welding Operations: Perform various welding techniques, such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten

  Inert Gas), or ARC welding, based on project requirements and materials involved.

• Metal Fabrication: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine

  welding specifications, dimensions, and layouts for metal components.

• Welding Equipment Setup: Set up and operate welding machines, torches, and other necessary equipment

  to ensure proper welding parameters, such as voltage, current, and gas flow rates.

• Quality Control: Inspect welded joints and completed work pieces for quality, accuracy, and adherence to

  specifications, ensuring structural integrity and visual appearance meet established standards.

• Welding Techniques and Processes: Stay updated with the latest welding techniques, processes, and

  technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

• Material Preparation: Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fit and

  alignment of components.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment

  (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment to ensure

  proper functionality and prevent breakdowns.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including material usage,

  welding parameters, and quality inspection reports.

• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers,

  technicians, and production supervisors, to address welding-related issues, provide technical support/training on various welding technologies and techniques and communicate project progress.

•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

This Job Requires:

• Experience with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of production processes in a related industry preferred.

• Extensive experience in various welding techniques, equipment, and materials used in metal fabrication.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Great communication and collaboration skills.

• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving techniques.
