Diverse Staffing is hiring MIG/TIG Fabrication Welders for a metal fabrication and manufacturing facility in Edinburgh, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, a Monday-Friday schedule, and a temp-to-hire opportunity for experienced welders looking for long-term employment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and fabricated metal components

• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to meet customer specifications

• Cut, shape, bend, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment

• Align, fit, clamp, and assemble components prior to welding

• Inspect, grind, and finish welds to meet quality standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Must-Have Qualifications

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong measuring, layout, and shop math skills

• Knowledge of welding safety procedures

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Reliable transportation and attendance

• Ability to work safely and follow OSHA guidelines

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Fabrication shop experience

• Experience using plasma cutters, saws, and ironworkers

• Forklift experience

• Overhead crane experience

• Welding certifications

Work Environment

• Fabrication and manufacturing shop environment

• Exposure to welding sparks, fumes, heat, and industrial equipment

• Standing and walking for most of the shift

• Frequent lifting, material handling, kneeling, and crouching

• Repetitive hand and arm movements

• Working around cranes, forklifts, and fabrication machinery

• PPE required at all times

• Overtime may be available based on production needs
