Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:
• Locates reference point on part and measures dimensions such as angle, arc, and radii
• Reports findings to Inspection Supervisor and, if necessary, write Inspection Deviation Report (IDR) if parts are not in conformance
• Sets up and tries out inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
• responsible for measuring and verifying the accuracy of machined or manufactured parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
• use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to check dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
