Your Day-to-Day Tasks will be:

• Operate a sit-down forklift with a clamp attachment to handle various types of materials, including pallets, containers, and bulk items.

• Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.

• Inspect and maintain the forklift and clamp attachment to ensure safe operation, reporting any malfunctions or issues.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of materials handled and report any discrepancies.

• Assist in inventory management, including counting and tracking materials as needed.

• Perform general warehouse duties as required, including cleaning and organizing work areas.

• Unloading/Loading containers, railcars, and trailers utilizing sit-down forklift and clamp attachment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Required -Minimum 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift with a clamp attachment in a warehouse or industrial setting.  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to meeting customer needs revolving around unloading and loading containers/trailers.

• Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices in forklift operation.

• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.  Can lift up to 50 lbs.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Comfortable standing or moving for the full shift.

• Teamwork and cooperative mindset.

• Punctual and ready to work.
